Our criminal justice system is supposed to be aimed toward truth. But lies are a contributing factor in 64% of wrongful convictions. You would think a trial would always bring out the truth. But unfortunately, that is not always the case. You should pay particularly close attention if the accuser has a motive to lie. If you are falsely accused, don't become a statistic.
