4. COERCED CONFESSIONS

Nobody would confess to a crime they didn't commit, would they? It's more complicated than you think. The amount of  pressure exerted in an interrogation room is usually underestimated by those who have never been subjected to it. And it is well documented that juveniles and those who are cognitively challenged are much more susceptible to giving a false confession. 13% of wrongful convictions are the result of a coerced confession. If you are falsely accused because of a confession that was coerced, don't become a statistic. Learn about past coerced confession cases and how to combat the use of the coerced confession.
